Naver announced on the 14th that it will introduce a new 'Clip Challenger Program' that allows creators to generate their own short-form content based on highly relevant monthly topics.

The Clip Challenger Program is designed to select topics that users are likely to be interested in each month, enabling creators to more easily take on the challenge of producing and sharing clips. It offers participants various activity benefits and opportunities to work as clip creators. While the existing 'Clip Creator Program' operated based on selected creators, the Clip Challenger Program allows anyone interested in short-form content to create and participate.

Naver Clip also supports creators with activity funding to facilitate smooth content production. A maximum of 5,000 participants who complete the monthly mission will receive 10,000 won in Naver Pay points, and an additional 100,000 won in Naver Pay points will be awarded to 500 creators who demonstrate excellent performance. Additionally, creators who actively participate in the program and show consistent activity will have the opportunity to be additionally selected for the 'Clip Creator Program.' This new opportunity aims to encourage more users to continue their creative endeavors.

The Clip Challenger Program will select topics based on themes that Naver users are frequently interested in each month. Creators can produce clips reflecting their own interpretations while incorporating trends, which will likely lead to a vibrant production of diverse short-form content. In particular, content produced according to timely themes will be naturally exposed across various services, including the Naver app home feed and search areas. Users will be able to experience the changing trends more intuitively through clips, enabling a new exploratory experience through short-form content.

Kim Ah-young, leader of Naver Clip, noted, "We expect that through the Clip Challenger Program, creators will be able to freely communicate by producing their own stories in short-form for each theme,” and added, “Naver will expand technical support and various participation opportunities so that not only creators who have participated in the Clip Creator Program but anyone interested in producing short-form content can easily gain experience in creation." She further stated, "Creators who actively produce content in the challenge and engage vigorously with users will be offered opportunities to participate in the Clip Creator Program later, supporting the expansion of the clip ecosystem and diverse content production continuously."
