SHIFT UP announced on the 13th that it will release the PC version of 'Stella Blade' and the 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke' DLC in June during Sony PlayStation's major event 'State of Play (SoP).'
The video revealed at SoP featured popular characters from Nikke, including Lapi, Hongryeon, Alice, and Annis, suggesting a natural consolidation between the worlds of the two games. In particular, both intellectual properties (IPs) are based on a post-apocalyptic worldview, increasing expectations for a more profound story.
'Stella Blade,' which was released last year as a PlayStation 5 exclusive title, will be available on PC platforms such as Steam and Epic Store in June, and SHIFT UP plans to create more touchpoints with a broader user base through this. Additionally, the release of a DLC utilizing its representative IP is expected to provide a special experience for fans of both games.
SHIFT UP indicated on February 10 through its official website that it plans to accelerate its global market strategy through multi-platform expansion, including a PC version. Following this, it is continuing its active steps as a game IP development company by officially announcing the release of DLC for its owned IP and platform expansion at SoP.
SHIFT UP CEO Kim Hyung-tae said, "This will be an important opportunity to further expand the influence of SHIFT UP's global IPs," adding, "We will promote continuous content expansion and platform diversification through existing IP services and new IP development."
