SAP Korea has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CWT Korea, a global business travel management company, for cooperation in corporate travel services and the development of the business-to-business (B2B) market.

On 10th at SAP Korea, the MOU signing ceremony was attended by Eun-young Shin, CEO of SAP Korea, and Jung-Hyun Kim, CEO of CWT Korea, who discussed future cooperation plans.

CWT Korea supports overall corporate travel management, including travel expenses, regulations, and safety, based on a global network spanning over 140 countries. In particular, according to the ’2025 Travel and Expense Management Outlook' report released by SAP on the 12th of last month, the Asia-Pacific region is the fastest-growing area in the corporate travel market as of 2023, with increasing demands for transparency in travel management and regulatory compliance. Consequently, as corporations focus on enhancing regulatory compliance and optimizing travel management, this agreement is part of a strategic cooperation to respond to these market changes.

Through this agreement, the two companies plan to support corporate customers in managing business travel more efficiently and experiencing a more streamlined travel process based on the ‘SAP Concur’ solution for business travel and expense management. Specifically, they will support customers using the expense management service ‘Concur Expense’ to connect with travel support services and provide consulting for improving travel processes to ‘Concur Travel’ customers.

Through this, SAP Concur solution customers are expected to operate their travel management and expense processing more productively and systematically based on CWT Korea’s expertise. In addition, CWT Korea plans to provide faster and more efficient services to corporate customers seeking systematic corporate travel services as a Korean TMC resale partner of Concur through global Concur partnerships.

Additionally, various events and promotions for customers have been prepared as part of this agreement. In March, a seminar will be held for SAP Concur customers in collaboration with CWT Korea, introducing the benefits and services to be offered to customers through the collaboration of the two companies.

Eun-young Shin, CEO of SAP Korea, noted, ‘We signed this agreement to help SAP Concur customers efficiently manage their business travel.’ She added, ‘SAP Concur will continue to support corporations in simplifying their travel processes by automating expense management, travel, and accounts payable processes through collaboration with domestic and foreign partners, as well as linking with other financial systems.’

Jung-Hyun Kim, CEO of CWT Korea, said, ‘CWT Korea supports cost savings by providing corporation-customized reports based on real-time travel data integration and analysis, while also helping corporations efficiently comply with travel regulations through a simple IT platform.’ She added, ‘The synergy created by combining SAP Korea’s expertise with these strengths is the key background of this collaboration, and based on a strong partnership, corporations will manage travel planning and expense management in one place while providing innovative travel services tailored to their characteristics.’
