Devsisters announced on the 11th that it recorded an operating profit of 700 million won in the fourth quarter of 2024, successfully turning around from an operating loss of 11.8 billion won in the same period last year. The company aims to continue its growth in the global market through this year's new game releases and IP expansion. It will continue to invest in development to secure upcoming new titles, strengthen its IP (intellectual property) business expansion, and enhance its UA (user acquisition) marketing strategy to attract new users.

Devsisters' fourth quarter sales reached 50.2 billion won, a 32.8% increase compared to 37.8 billion won in the same period last year. Although performance slowed compared to the previous quarter due to a decrease in the effect of new game releases, the strong growth from 'Cookie Run: Kingdom' and 'Cookie Run: Tower Adventure' contributed to improved results.

On an annual basis, the company recorded an operating profit of 27.2 billion won, turning around from an operating loss of 48 billion won last year. 'Cookie Run: Kingdom' saw a 27% increase in the number of new users compared to the previous year, surpassing a cumulative global download of 72 million. Following the 4th anniversary update in January, sales increased by 54% compared to the same period last year, showing robust growth.

Devsisters plans to focus on expanding its global market this year. First, 'Cookie Run: Tower Adventure' will conduct local testing in Japan from February 21 to March 3, preparing to enter the Japanese and Chinese markets in collaboration with publisher Yostar. After launching in June last year, 'Cookie Run: Tower Adventure' achieved the No. 1 spot in app market popularity rankings in key regions such as Korea, the United States, Taiwan, and Thailand, and successfully settled in the market, ranking first in sales in Korea, second in Taiwan, and third in Thailand.

'Cookie Run: Brave' is intensifying its efforts to target the U.S. market. This month, it will participate in the global trading fair 'GAMA Expo' for TCG (trading card game) and board games to carry out marketing activities. Launched last year in Taiwan and five Southeast Asian countries, 'Cookie Run: Brave' received positive feedback by selling out initial stocks and recording additional orders. 'Cookie Run: Oven Smash' plans to conduct global user testing in the upcoming second quarter and aims for an official launch within the year. It is seeking a separate service strategy for nine regions in Asia in collaboration with publisher VNGGames.

A representative from Devsisters noted, "New titles based on the Cookie Run IP have driven performance improvement while achieving results in the global market," and added, "We will continue to maintain our growth this year through a variety of new releases and global market expansion."
