The semiconductor equipment corporation Applied Materials announced on the 10th that it will participate in the semiconductor industry exhibition 'SEMICON Korea 2025,' which will be held at COEX in Gangnam, Seoul, from the 19th to the 21st.
Applied will showcase its technological leadership in the semiconductor industry through various programs, including keynote speeches, technical symposiums, forums, and seminars at the event.
On the opening day of the event, the 19th, Prabhu Raza, president of Applied Semiconductor Products Group, will present on the topic of 'Accelerating energy-efficient semiconductors through innovation via collaboration.'
The plan is to provide insights into power efficiency enhancement technologies for semiconductor chips for the artificial intelligence (AI) era and emphasize the importance of cooperation between industry, academia, and government for a sustainable future in the semiconductor industry.
At the technical symposium, two company officials, including the director of the NANO sector and the global product marketing director, will give lectures on 'Gate-All-Around (GAA) transistors for 2nm and above technology nodes' and 'High aspect ratio and high productivity etching technologies for next-generation 3D integration.'
In addition, Applied will participate in a mentoring seminar to nurture future talent in the semiconductor industry and will host a career event for university students.
