Samsung Electronics announced on the 9th that one in five self-subscribing pre-order customers who purchased the Galaxy S25 series during the pre-sale at offline and online stores joined the 'New Galaxy AI Subscription Club,' which started on the 24th of last month.
In particular, 30% of customers who purchased self-subscribing devices from Samsung.com chose the subscription club. Launched in line with the pre-sale of the Galaxy S25 series, the subscription club offers benefits such as a 50% residual value guarantee when returning the device after one year and a 40% residual value guarantee when returning it after two years.
The model with the highest subscription rate was the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and there was a high preference for top-tier models that offer higher compensation amounts for device returns.

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics will enhance the benefits for Galaxy users who return their old smartphones under the subscription club. Customers who purchase the Galaxy S25 series at Samsung Gangnam by the 28th and join the AI subscription club or those who subscribe on Samsung.com and pick up their Galaxy S25 series at Samsung Gangnam can return their old flagship models at the used phone return kiosk on the 3rd floor of Samsung Gangnam and receive an additional 30,000 won on top of the compensation amount based on their grade.
