Samsung Electronics announced on the 9th the launch of its 2025 air conditioner model 'Bespoke AI Wind-Free Combo Gallery.'
The new product features a delicate humidity sensing and control system that enhances energy efficiency with a newly applied 'comfortable dehumidification' function.
The dehumidification function of existing air conditioners operates by cooling the entire heat exchanger, which causes indoor temperatures to drop more during dehumidification when the cooling setting is low, and reduces dehumidification performance when the setting is high.
'Comfortable dehumidification' technology adjusts the refrigerant according to humidity, cooling the heat exchanger only as needed, thereby preventing unnecessary cold air discharge and reducing energy consumption by up to 30% compared to the existing dehumidification function.
It also supports the 'AI Comfort' function, which analyzes the user's lifestyle patterns, usage time, weather, and the area of the cooling space to automatically provide optimal cooling and air purification features.
All models of the Bespoke AI Wind-Free Combo Gallery have energy efficiency grades of 1 and 2, and setting 'AI Power Saving Mode' through the SmartThings app can lead to additional savings of up to 30% through customized power management.
It is also characterized by supporting the AI voice assistant Bixby, allowing control of the device without a remote through natural voice commands. Bixby understands and performs complex function change commands such as 'Switch to Wind-Free mode when it gets cool' and 'Change to a mode suitable for the current weather.'
The new product also includes the 'Good Sleep' function, which provides an optimal sleeping temperature based on the user's sleep pattern.
When linked with Samsung Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring and detecting the user's sleep, the air conditioner turns on, and it also automatically stops operation when the user wakes up in the morning.
It has increased convenience with various AI functions managing the air conditioner, such as 'absence dehumidification' and 'absence power saving' by recognizing human movement.
