Canal Plus is a global media entertainment corporation that pushes business in the full range of content investment, production, and distribution in 52 countries, providing numerous globally popular contents.
StudioCanal, a subsidiary of Canal Plus, is a specialized production studio equipped for film and television production.
LG Uplus has signed a partnership with Canal Plus and StudioCanal to provide differentiated content experiences to U+tv customers.
The content exclusively provided to U+tv through this partnership includes approximately 188 titles, such as original series and films from Canal Plus, which are set to be released sequentially starting this month.
Major contents available for viewing through U+tv include the first TV series of the film known as 'Hez Fallen', the crime drama 'Money and Blood', which deals with a real-life large-scale tax fraud incident, 'Collapse', which depicts a future where daily necessities become scarce due to oil depletion, and 'November', a film based on the Paris terror events that was officially invited to the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
Additionally, beloved classic films in Korea such as 'Basic Instinct', 'About a Boy', 'Billy Elliot', 'Apocalypse Now', and 'The Doors' can also be viewed.
The original content of Canal Plus can be accessed by anyone subscribed to LG Uplus's subscription products, Uplay Basic (9,900 won per month) and Premium (15,400 won).
Customers of U+tv and U+mobile tv can also view content through separate paid subscriptions.
