LG CNS achieved its highest ever performance last year, continuing its growth trend.
On the 6th, LG CNS announced its preliminary consolidated results for last year and the fourth quarter. The fourth quarter results for 2024 recorded revenue of 2.022 trillion won and an operating profit of 200.1 billion won, breaking the record for the highest quarterly performance. This marks a 6.2% increase in revenue and a 1.1% increase in operating profit compared to the same period last year.
The annual results for last year also showed revenue of 5.9826 trillion won and operating profit of 512.9 billion won, an increase of 6.7% and 10.5% respectively compared to the previous year, setting a record for five consecutive years with upward growth.
In particular, the strong growth of cloud and AI businesses, which are core growth drivers for LG CNS, propelled this record performance. Last year, revenue from the cloud and AI sectors reached 3.3518 trillion won, accounting for approximately 56% of total revenue and marking a high growth rate of 15.8% compared to the previous year.
LG CNS noted, "As the leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) in the domestic cloud sector, we possess top-tier technology based on close partnerships with global Cloud Service Providers (CSP)." It added, "In the field of artificial intelligence (AI), we are proving our technological capabilities and business capacity by advancing various projects based on our proprietary solutions such as the 'DAP GenAI platform' and 'DRAG.'"
It also added, "Along with this, we are maintaining stable growth in smart engineering businesses such as smart logistics and smart factory, as well as traditional IT service sectors."
