Nexon announced on the 6th that it will begin recruiting speakers for the 'Nexon Developers Conference (NDC 25)' to be held from June 24 to 26, 2025, at the Nexon headquarters in Pangyo and nearby.
The 'Nexon Developers Conference (NDC)' is a leading game industry knowledge-sharing conference in South Korea that started in 2007, providing valuable information and networking opportunities for both industry professionals and the general audience by sharing ever-changing technological trends and industry know-how.
To explore the potential for coexistence in the game industry within the global competitive market and to uncover new growth engines, Nexon is transitioning NDC 25 to an openly held offline conference for the first time in six years since 2019, while also conducting online live streaming.
Recruitment for NDC 25 speakers will take place from February 6 to 23, and anyone who wishes to share their joy and experiences of game development can apply. Final presenters will be selected after the submission of their application through evaluations by the NDC advisory committee.
The presentation categories will include ▲Game Planning ▲Programming ▲Visual Art & Sound ▲Production & Operations ▲Business & Management ▲Data Analysis ▲Blockchain ▲Artificial Intelligence (AI) ▲Career ▲Intellectual Property (IP), comprising a total of 10 tracks. Notably, this year, a new 'IP' category has been established to recruit speakers who can share the latest know-how and various insights related to IP expansion strategies.
Selected speakers will receive 1:1 presentation coaching consulting, an NDC 25 commemorative kit, priority admission tickets for the offline session (SPEAKER PASS), and a modest speaker fee.
Son Jun-ho, head of the Talent Strategy Division at Nexon Korea, noted, "NDC is the leading domestic game conference where various experts in the game industry gather to share knowledge and exchange values," and added, "As it returns as an openly held offline event after six years, we will prepare for deeper discussions and active exchanges."
Nexon plans to finalize the speakers for NDC 25 in March and will start pre-registration for general audience attendees in May.
