Masayoshi Son, chairman of SoftBank Group, said on the 4th regarding the "trilateral meeting with Samsung Electronics and OpenAI," that he will discuss the status of updates related to the Stargate project and potential collaboration with the Samsung Group.

On that day, Son met with reporters at Samsung Electronics' Seocho office in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and made this statement. The Stargate project is an initiative to expand large-scale artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure in the United States, investing $500 billion (approximately 731 trillion won).

On that day, it is expected that Chairman Son, Lee Jae-yong, chairman of Samsung Electronics, executives, and Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, will check the status related to the Stargate project and discuss future business plans.

When asked whether he would request investment from Chairman Lee Jae-yong, Son responded, "There is nothing special, only discussions about potential collaboration."
