Samsung Electronics announced on the 4th that the domestic pre-sale volume for the Galaxy S25 series, which ran from Jan. 24 to Feb. 3, totaled 1.3 million units. This marks the highest pre-sale record ever for the Galaxy S series, surpassing the previous record of 1.21 million units set by the Galaxy S24 series a year ago.

The sales share by model was 52% for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, 26% for the Galaxy S25, and 22% for the Galaxy S25+, indicating the ultra model's popularity. In terms of color, the Galaxy S25 Ultra was popular in titanium white silver and titanium silver blue, while the Galaxy S25 and S25+ favored ice blue and silver shadow. Among the exclusive colors available on Samsung.com and Samsung Gangnam, titanium jet black and blue black received high preference.

About 30% of customers who purchased the Galaxy S25 series on Samsung.com joined the "New Galaxy AI Subscription Club." This program offers benefits such as a maximum of 50% residual value guarantee on device trade-ins, Samsung Care+ for smartphone damage, and accessory discounts. Additionally, customers who purchased the 256GB model received a 512GB model, which garnered a positive response.

The Galaxy S25 series offers further advanced AI features and powerful performance, while the pricing remains the same as its predecessor. The telecommunications industry evaluates this as a "Galaxy AI popularization strategy," which has drawn positive consumer reactions.

The Galaxy S25 series boasts the strongest performance ever with the adoption of the "Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy." It also features an AI-based "Pro Visual Engine" and high-resolution sensors to provide an even clearer shooting experience, and includes the "AI editing feature" that allows simple sound editing within videos.

Customers who pre-purchased can receive and activate their products starting on the 4th, and the Galaxy S25 series will be gradually released in over 120 countries, including South Korea, the United States, and the United Kingdom, starting on Feb. 7.
