Com2uS announced on the 3rd that it will reveal a collaboration with its summoning-type RPG 'Chronicle' and the popular anime IP 'Oh! My Goddess,' along with a teaser video and detailed schedule.
'Oh! My Goddess' is an anime based on the manga by Kosuke Fujishima, telling the story of a typical college student attending Nekomi Institute of Technology who meets the goddess 'Belldandy' and her companions, resulting in episodes of romantic comedy. Both the original work, serialized for about 25 years since 1988, and the first and second seasons of the TV anime have gained immense popularity in Japan, Korea, and around the world.
This collaboration will take place starting from Feb. 6. Players will be able to meet the four goddesses from 'Oh! My Goddess'— 'Belldandy,' 'Urd,' 'Skuld,' and 'Paeos'—as special summons. These summons can be obtained more easily through collaboration-specific summoning scrolls, in addition to the mysterious summoning scrolls, with various content and events expected to be added.
Com2uS has released teaser images and videos through its official forum and YouTube channel ahead of this collaboration. The video introduces the characters from 'Oh! My Goddess' reinterpreted in the style of 'Chronicle' along with illustrations. Users are eagerly anticipating how the four heroines from 'Oh! My Goddess,' each with their unique charms, will fit into the world of 'Chronicle.'
