KT announced on the 2nd that it will recruit KT Digital Talent Scholarship recipients from the 3rd to the 19th.
The KT Digital Talent Scholarship is a key scholarship program of the KT Group that supports tuition fees until graduation for outstanding university students aspiring to pursue careers in information and communications technology (IT) innovation and artificial intelligence (AI). Since 1988, KT has provided scholarships to over 12,000 university students.
Eligibility requires holding South Korean nationality and being a current student at a domestic university. Applicants must major in ICT-related fields such as AI and computer engineering, have no disciplinary actions according to university regulations, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 (on a 4.5 scale) or higher. Non-major applicants can qualify if they possess a certification of basic or higher in the AICE (AI proficiency exam developed by KT).
Final recipients will receive tuition coverage for up to four semesters and training to enhance AI capabilities. Scholarship recipients will also be provided opportunities for collaboration, including AI-related training and practical projects with KT employees, to gain practical AI experience.
