The three telecommunications companies (SK Telecom, KT, LG Uplus) announced on the 23rd that they will begin pre-orders for the Galaxy S25.
SK Telecom (hereafter SKT) will conduct pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series from the 24th to Feb. 3. Customers who pre-order will be able to activate their devices from Feb. 4, and the global official launch date is Feb. 7.
SKT will select 50 customers who activated their devices after participating in the pre-order for the Galaxy S25 series through a lottery to receive the benefit of a "Walt Disney World Tour." The winners will have the opportunity to travel to their desired Walt Disney World or Disneyland locations around the world, including in Florida, Los Angeles, Paris, and Shanghai. They will be provided with a travel voucher worth 3 million won for travel expenses and admission tickets.
Additionally, a promotion will concurrently be conducted, in which 2,000 pre-order customers will be randomly chosen to receive a 50,000 won Starbucks gift card. Both the Walt Disney World Tour benefits and Starbucks gift cards can be applied for simultaneously. Benefits will continue even after the pre-orders. From Feb. 4 to Mar. 31, customers who activate their Galaxy S25 series devices and subscribe to the Disney+ (Disney Plus) rate plan can apply on a promotional page to receive a T Universe Disney+ three-month usage coupon, which can be gifted to others, for the first 5,000 individuals.
Benefits of T Universe will also be provided. Customers who activate the Galaxy S25 series by Mar. 31 and sign up for the T Universe CU discount subscription product at offline stores will have their monthly discount limit increased to 60,000 won from the previous 30,000 won. This double discount limit will apply until June 30 after product subscription.
The T Day benefit will also be doubled in February. Specifically, the number of uses for the T Day week benefit will increase from 1 to 2 times each, and the chances to enter the T Day Lucky Chance will also increase from 1 to 2. Moreover, the usage period for the T Day Open Run will extend from the previous 10 days to 20 days. T Day benefits are available to all SKT customers.
The T Roaming benefit will also be doubled. Customers who activate the Galaxy S25 series and participate in the event from Feb. 4 to Mar. 31 and use the roaming baro rate plan will receive an additional roaming coupon with the same capacity (up to 6GB) as the roaming data they used, for the first 1,000 individuals.
Rich AI-related benefits have also been prepared. Customers who activate the Galaxy S25 series and complete the necessary consent for the event can utilize up to 1,000 calls worth of phone call summaries per month for up to six months (previously a maximum of 350 calls).
SKT will exclusively conduct the country's first discount promotion for OpenAI. Customers can use the paid service "ChatGPT Plus" for half price for three months. Any SKT customer who applies for the event through T Universe Web and mobile app from Feb. 4 to Apr. 30 and subscribes to ChatGPT Plus for the first time will receive a 50% discount benefit. Coupons sent sequentially after Feb. 13 must be registered by June 30 to apply the half-price discount for three months from the registration date.
Furthermore, SKT, in partnership with Samsung Electronics, offers a basic benefit where customers who purchase the Galaxy S25 series through pre-orders will receive a free upgrade from 256GB to 512GB of storage.
On this day, KT announced that it will conduct pre-orders for Samsung Electronics' "Galaxy S25 series" from the 24th to Feb. 3 at all KT stores nationwide and the official online mall KT.com.
Pre-order customers of the Galaxy S25 series can enjoy the 'double storage' benefit, allowing them to upgrade their 256GB products to 512GB. Additionally, customers who purchase products by the end of February will receive discount coupons worth 150,000 won for Galaxy Watch 7 and three 30% discount coupons for accessories available through the Samsung.com app. Along with this, they will also receive a three-month free trial of YouTube Premium, a three-month free subscription to Willa, with an additional three months at a 50% discount, and a three-month unlimited subscription to gathered domestic and international digital magazines.
KT.com will launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra 1TB model, and pre-order customers can purchase it at the 512GB price (a discount of 286,000 won). The 1TB free upgrade will be available in limited quantities. Orders placed by 1 p.m. on Feb. 3 will be guaranteed for delivery by Feb. 4.
Additionally, pre-order customers at KT.com will receive a 7% discount on the monthly fee of 5G plans for up to 24 months (except for LTE and direct plans) and a 5% cashback or 12-month interest-free installment benefit with a maximum of 100,000 won when using BC, Samsung, or Shinhan cards. Customers who return used phones can receive a maximum compensation of 150,000 won, and an additional compensation of 100,000 won will apply specifically for the Galaxy series. Additionally, mobile gift certificates worth 50,000 won will be distributed to the first customers.
Pre-order customers will receive a genuine Samsung ultra-fast charger when purchasing the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and either Galaxy Buds FE or a popular case when purchasing the Galaxy S25 and S25+. A three-month access to Millie's Library will also be provided. Those who purchase along with family or friends can receive a maximum Naver Pay gift card worth 600,000 won (based on a maximum of four people).
During the KT.com pre-order period, customers who purchase and activate the Galaxy Watch Ultra or Galaxy Watch 7 at KT.com will receive the Galaxy Buds Pro 3 on a first-come, first-served basis. First-time customers at KT.com will also receive an additional Galaxy Watch 5. For those who order while watching the live broadcast of the Galaxy S25 series on KT.com during the pre-order period, luxurious prizes such as a Bottega Veneta card wallet, Chanel hand cream, and Hermes perfume will be given away through a lottery.
KT is introducing a new selection benefit called "Galaxy Change Choice" for customers who purchase the Galaxy S25 series. Customers who choose Galaxy Change Choice can subscribe to the "Safe Change New Galaxy AI Club" (8,000 won per month) and customers using the "Choice Special" or "Choice Premium" rate plans can use the service for free.
"Safe Change New Galaxy AI Club" will offer a service that allows customers to receive compensation of up to 50% of the device price when returning their old phone upon purchasing a new phone after two years, providing optimal benefits for customers using the Galaxy S series.
For customers interested in second devices, subscribing to the Samsung Choice rate plan allows them to purchase the Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro at discounted prices. Choosing the Samsung Choice and Device Choice rate plans will provide monthly benefits for device installment payment discounts.
In addition to Samsung Choice products, new items will be added to the Device Choice plan from Jan. 21. Popular products include the Pulio calf massager V3 and neck and shoulder massager V2 set priced in the 2,000 won range per month, the Millie's Library eBook reader for 500 won per month, and the LG UltraGear 24-inch monitor for free, among various products available at discounted prices.
KT is providing up to 1.22 million won in benefits through double discounts on affiliate cards. Customers using KT Super DC Lotte Card and KT Installment Plus KB Kookmin Card who achieve a monthly performance of 2.2 million won will receive approximately 1.03 million won in rate discounts and 190,000 won in cashback benefits over 24 months. Y-Dumb customers (5G plan subscribers aged 34 and under) will receive double data sharing, a free line for smart devices, or discount benefits. Additionally, 2,500 pre-order customers will be randomly selected to receive a 10,000 won Starbucks e-gift card.
LG Uplus announced that it will conduct pre-orders for Samsung Electronics' flagship smartphone series, the Galaxy S25, which comes with the AI-based call agent service "ixi-O," from the 24th to the 3rd of next month. Launched in November last year, ixi-O offers real-time voice phishing detection, AI search, AI call answering, visual phone, quick AI summaries, and suggestion functions based on on-device AI.
LG Uplus is also offering additional benefits to reduce the burden of device replacement and management for customers purchasing the Galaxy S25 series. The newly introduced "Phone Replacement Pass with New Galaxy AI Club" allows customers activating the Galaxy S25 series to use the "Phone Replacement Pass" and, upon additional consent, enjoy the "New Galaxy AI Club" for free. Utilizing this benefit is expected to significantly reduce costs for customers when replacing devices.
LG Uplus is also running various promotions for customers participating in Galaxy S25 series pre-orders on its official online mall, "Uplus.com." Customers who pre-order the Galaxy S25 series on "Uplus.com" will receive a coupon (worth up to 200,000 won) that can be used when purchasing and activating the Galaxy S25 series. Customers can also receive up to 24 months of interest-free installments and cashback benefits (90,000 won) when paying with Samsung Card after pre-ordering. Customers who return their used Galaxy phones and purchase the Galaxy S25 series will receive an additional 150,000 won on top of the existing compensation price.
Moreover, Uplus.com plans to offer luxurious prizes such as the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 Ultra 7 (one person), LG CineBeam Cube (one person), Hermes scarf (one person), and Starbucks Americano gift codes (for the first 10,000 people) through a lottery to customers who pre-order and subsequently activate their smartphones.
The Galaxy S25 and S25+ unveiled that day will be available in two capacities: 256GB and 512GB, and in four colors: ice blue, navy, mint, and silver shadow. The sleek design, lighter weight, and application of the highest specification chipset are characteristics of this series. The price for the Galaxy S25 256GB is 1,155,000 won (including VAT), while the 512GB version is priced at 1,298,000 won. The Galaxy S25+ will cost 1,353,000 won for the 256GB and 1,496,000 won for the 512GB.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra will be offered in four colors: titanium black, titanium silver blue, titanium white silver, and titanium gray. It comes in two capacities, 256GB and 512GB, and features a more advanced camera and rounded design. The price for the Galaxy S25 Ultra model is 1,698,400 won for the 256GB version and 1,841,400 won for the 512GB version.
