MangoBoost announced on the 22nd that it has appointed Park Chan-ik, former Vice President of Samsung Electronics' Device Solutions Division for the Americas, as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Park Chan-ik, CCO, has spearheaded more than 20 years of research and development and commercialization in the semiconductor hardware and software sectors at Samsung Electronics. After earning his bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in computer engineering from Seoul National University, he joined Samsung Electronics' Software Center in 2002 as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He has served as the head of the NAND planning group in the Memory Division's product planning team and as the head of the planning team for the Memory Division, in addition to being the Vice President overseeing NAND product planning and the business enablement team for the Americas in the Device Solutions Division.
MangoBoost is set to strengthen its global business capabilities with the recruitment of Park Chan-ik as CCO. Last year, MangoBoost completed the development of its programmable semiconductor (FPGA)-based data processing accelerator (DPU) and launched it.
Park Chan-ik, CCO, noted, "I joined to contribute to the commercialization of MangoBoost's DPU technology, which meets the core demands of AI data centers, based on my experience in semiconductor technology research and commercialization.
