SOCAR announced on the 22nd that it will start recruiting franchisees for its shared electric bicycle service 'SOCAR Elecle' until June.
SOCAR Elecle, which launched the nation's first shared electric bicycle service in 2019, has operated a franchise business model since 2022. Currently, in its fourth year of franchising, it operates 18 franchise stores in 20 cities nationwide. As of the end of last year, the total number of operational franchise devices was 14,000, showing more than double growth compared to 2023.
This franchise recruitment will focus on regional cities where the reinvestment ratio for franchises is 67%. Major recruitment areas include ▲ Yeongnam region (Busan, Ulsan, Changwon, Pohang, Gimhae, etc.) ▲ Honam region (Gwangju, Jeonju, Suncheon, Iksan, Yeosu, etc.) ▲ Gangwon region (Gangneung, Wonju, etc.) ▲ Chungcheong region (Chungju, Seosan, Dangjin, etc.).
