LG Electronics announced on the 16th that it is operating a pop-up store called 'Romantic Hut.zip' for its home lifestyle community 'Life House' at the Gonjiam Resort Ski Resort located in Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province.
Life House, which aims to be 'a community for home enthusiasts,' was planned with the hope of enriching customers' lives by sharing various activities enjoyed at home. Under the message 'We can do anything at home,' it offers content on themes of home lifestyle such as cooking, gardening, art, and entertainment while collaborating with companies including Munhakdongne, Hyundai Green Food, and Shinsegae Department Store.
The number of members in Life House began to spread through word of mouth after surpassing 50,000 in January last year and has recently increased nearly eightfold in one year, exceeding a total of 390,000.
This pop-up store set up by Life House is designed to extend the experience of the online community into offline interactions, aiming to share with more customers. With the ski season upon us, the concept has been set as 'Hut in the Snow,' where customers visiting Gonjiam Resort can take a moment to relax and find comfort and stability in the cold winter weather.
Wooden pallets were used in the production of the pop-up store. The wooden pallets, used in the logistics field to load and transport home appliances, were utilized to reproduce the feeling of a cabin in the woods. LG Electronics plans to recycle these wooden pallets for future pop-ups and other events.
Visitors can also experience LG Electronics appliances, including the mobile lifestyle screen LG Standby Me, the premium wireless speaker LG Xboom 360, the ultra-small premium 4K projector LG CineBeam Cube, the innovative table-type air purifier LG PuriCare Aerofurniture, and the newly designed air-purifying fan Aerotower, installed inside and in front of the hut.
