Oracle announced on the 14th that it has launched the latest computing platform, Exadata X11M.

Oracle offers the X11M at the same price as the previous generation. The X11M is characterized by significantly improved performance and energy efficiency across artificial intelligence (AI), analytics, and online transaction processing (OLTP). Through intelligent power management features, it helps reduce data center space, power, cooling expenses and supports sustainability goals. Additionally, it provides the same functionality in public cloud, multicloud, and on-premises environments, allowing for flexible deployment without application changes.

The Exadata X11M is equipped with the latest AMD processors, enhancing AI vector search speeds by up to 55%, improving transaction processing performance by 25%, and accelerating analytics query processing speeds by 25%. The in-memory scan speed of databases increased by up to 500 GB per second, and large-scale analytics throughput utilizing flash and RDMA memory is possible. This enables corporations to handle more workloads while reducing expenses.

The X11M operates on-premises, in Exadata Cloud at Customer, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and major cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), providing 100% compatibility with Oracle databases. It maintains scalability and high availability during planned and unplanned downtimes in multicloud environments and also supports integration with third-party AI and analytics tools.

Kothanda Umamageswaran, senior vice president of Oracle Exadata and horizontal scaling technologies, said, “With Oracle Exadata X11M, corporations can enjoy differentiated price-performance and integration, efficiency benefits along with savings in hardware, power and cooling, and data center space.”
