Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg criticized Apple, stating that there has been no 'innovation' since Steve Jobs' iPhone over the past 20 years.

On the 12th, according to U.S. CNBC, CEO Zuckerberg appeared on the country's largest podcast 'The Joe Rogan Experience' and harshly criticized Apple, saying, 'Over the past 20 years, Apple has not developed anything particularly remarkable.'

In the interview, Zuckerberg noted, 'The iPhone was great on one hand. Now, almost everyone in the world has a mobile phone, and a lot of amazing things have been made possible thanks to the iPhone.' However, he also pointed out that 'On the other hand, Apple has created many rules that seem random through that platform and has not invented anything great for a while.'

He stated, 'The new iPhone models are not significantly improved compared to previous models,' and added, 'This has made it take a long time for consumers to change their phones, which has caused Apple to struggle with iPhone sales.'

He further analyzed, 'Not releasing many innovative products is a serious problem. If this continues, no matter how great Apple is, they could eventually lose in competition.'

Along with this, Zuckerberg criticized how Apple makes money. He remarked, 'They essentially squeeze people, charge developers a 30% fee, and encourage more purchases of additional devices and connections to them.'

He also noted, 'They create great products like AirPods but thoroughly hinder other companies from building connections to the iPhone in the same way.'

Zuckerberg specifically accused Apple of creating a friendly environment for its products, citing security reasons. He also argued that if Apple developed better security protocols and utilized encryption, they could solve these issues.

Zuckerberg remarked, 'The reason for the security vulnerabilities is that Apple did not properly establish security from the beginning,' and stated, 'Yet they justified this by making it easy to connect only to their products.' He continued, 'If Apple stops applying arbitrary regulations, Meta's revenue would double.'
