The artificial intelligence (AI) corporation PersonaAI noted on the 13th that it successfully concluded the CES 2025 exhibition, held in Las Vegas, USA, from the 7th to the 10th (local time), over the course of four days.
PersonaAI operated an exhibition hall under the slogan "NO INTERNET, NO GPU" in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), showcasing AI services that work offline without a GPU.
According to the company, the booth where visitors could experience various AI technologies such as image and video generation, document writing and summarization, and voice recognition with just a simple prompt was bustling with activity. In particular, the small language model (sLLM), speech recognition (STT), and generative AI worked smoothly at the CES venue, which had a poor network environment.
The core technology that won the CES 2025 Innovation Award, "SONA Edge sLLM," is an on-device AI solution that operates efficiently across various devices and systems, including smartphones, PCs, smart homes, and the Internet of Things (IoT). It can enhance performance by up to 20% through user-specific fine-tuning, allowing for optimization tailored to service purposes.
Additionally, an AI PC developed in collaboration with TG Sambo was unveiled. This product, equipped with PersonaAI's generative AI technology, targets the B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (business-to-government) markets, enhancing work efficiency and security. The company explained that inquiries from corporate attendees regarding AI PCs that can be immediately utilized in real work continued.
Yu Seung-jae, CEO of PersonaAI, stated, "Through this CES, we were able to directly showcase PersonaAI's technological prowess to domestic and international attendees," and he added, "With the CES 2025 Innovation Award and this exhibition as a catalyst, we will rapidly advance in the on-device AI market based on our foundational technology."
