Samsung Electronics announced on the 10th that it will operate a pop-up store called 'AI Book Academy' at Samsung Gangnam in Seocho-gu, Seoul, where visitors can experience the 'Galaxy Book5 Pro' and 'Galaxy Book5 Pro 360'.
To celebrate the domestic launch of the new 'Galaxy Book5 Pro' and the Galaxy Academy Festa, the store will operate for its first phase until the 15th and will open for its second phase from the 23rd, except during the Lunar New Year holiday until the 2nd of next month.
Visitors will experience the 'Galaxy AI' feature, which is the core of the artificial intelligence (AI) laptop, and 'Galaxy consolidation', which emphasizes the connectivity with smartphones, in a classroom-themed space.
The program consists of the first session for university students and the second session for new graduates, where it will be conducted in the form of a docent tour. In the first session, participants will use 'AI Select' to quickly find the lecture material by drawing a circle around topics of interest and sending the completed report to a tablet using 'Quick Share'. In the second session, users will experience high-utilization features, such as searching for foreign language signs using 'AI Select' to complete a company proposal.
After the product experience, visitors can take pictures for a certificate at the photo booth and receive a 50,000 won worth of Samsung membership points accumulation coupon, available for purchase at the Samsung Store of the 'Galaxy Book5 Series', along with lucky draw prizes including sticker packs, notebooks, and drinks.
From the 25th to the 2nd of next month, one-day classes will be held every weekend on the 3rd floor of Samsung Gangnam. Authors Jo Seung-yeon, translator Hwang Seok-hee, popular instructor Lee Ji-young, and creator Employee A will be invited as daily instructors to introduce various uses of the 'Galaxy Book5 Series' for writing and studying. A representative from Samsung Electronics noted, "This pop-up store is a space designed for customers to joyfully experience the 'Galaxy Book5 Series' equipped with essential AI laptop features, and we hope users will experience a true AI laptop with the Intel 'Lunar Lake' processor that boasts a maximum performance of 47 TOPS and 'AI Select', which is introduced for the first time in the Galaxy Book series."
