On this day, Vice Chairman Han took the stage as the keynote speaker at a press conference held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, stating that "Samsung Electronics' Home AI provides a highly personalized experience based on the understanding of users, offering convenience and enjoyment in daily life." Samsung Electronics revealed its vision for Home AI under the theme 'AI for Everyone: Expanding Experiences and Innovations' at the event attended by more than 1,200 global media and partners.
◇ Highlighting 'Home AI' with a focus on hyper-personalized experience
The Home AI emphasized at this CES features the integration of AI technology to provide services tailored to user needs, going beyond device consolidation through its proprietary platform, SmartThings. It distinguishes and understands various work and leisure situations and patterns, providing more advanced solutions by analyzing household items and spaces through spatial AI.
Samsung Electronics introduced a spatial AI-based 'SmartThings Ambient Sensing' technology. By applying SmartThings Ambient Sensing, it can detect and analyze users' device usage patterns, movements, and surrounding sounds through connected devices, summarizing household information, notifying of situations that require action, and suggesting device controls as per the context.
Samsung Electronics also noted that it plans to significantly enhance usability across 'Home AI' by applying its AI voice assistant 'Bixby'. The upgraded AI voice assistant Bixby can distinguish between family members' voices, providing optimal solutions tailored to each individual.
Samsung Electronics emphasized security that matches the hyper-connected and hyper-personalized Home AI experience. The company plans to expand its security solution Samsung Knox Matrix, developed based on Samsung Knox, to all Wi-Fi-enabled home appliances.

Introducing the 'Galaxy Book5 Pro and Book360' enhanced with both 'Galaxy AI' and Microsoft's 'Copilot+ PC' feature, these products offer various AI functions such as the 'AI Select' feature for easily and quickly searching for images or text within the screen, and 'Photo Remaster' for enhancing old or low-quality photos.
Samsung Electronics announced that starting this year, it will apply the 'Samsung Vision AI' feature on TVs to predict user needs and intentions in advance. Representative features include 'Click to Search,' which finds and provides desired information and content with a single click during the content being viewed, and 'Real-time Translation,' which translates subtitles of foreign-language content into Korean in real time.
The new Bespoke refrigerator model 'Bespoke AI Hybrid' features a 9-inch touchscreen that automatically recognizes food ingredients to create a food list with the 'AI Vision Inside' function. Samsung Electronics announced that it will introduce a service this year in the U.S. market, allowing consumers to instantly purchase missing food ingredients through the screen installed in the refrigerator, in collaboration with the American online grocery delivery service 'Instacart.'

Samsung Electronics publicly introduced a ship solution applying 'SmartThings for ships' in collaboration with Samsung Heavy Industries. Through SmartThings for ships, crew members can manage the ship's operating system at a glance and monitor energy integration management and abnormal activities.
Additionally, Samsung Electronics showcased 'SmartThings for vehicles' in collaboration with Hyundai Motor Group. SmartThings for vehicles offers features like 'SmartThings Find' to locate vehicles, as well as remote control of home appliances through the vehicle's infotainment system.
Samsung Electronics introduced 'SmartThings Pro', which provides differentiated AI B2B solutions across various industrial spaces. SmartThings Pro expands the application of SmartThings to schools, multi-family residences, and various buildings, assisting in integrated energy management and remote management of facilities based on AI.
