Dell Technologies unveiled its new on-device artificial intelligence (AI)-based PC products one day ahead of the 'CES 2025' event, which will open on Jan. 7 (local time) in Las Vegas, United States. Some products are set to be officially launched in South Korea in March.
On Jan. 7, Dell announced its AI PC new product lineup, which includes Dell, Dell Pro, and Dell Pro Max. The products are categorized into three groups: Dell for entertainment, learning, and work; Dell Pro for professional-grade productivity; and Dell Pro Max for top performance.
Each product lineup is divided into tiers: entry tier for beginners, plus tier for the highest performance, and premium tier that emphasizes portability and design. In the Dell product lineup, the Copilot Plus PC 'Dell Plus' and 'Dell 16 Plus' laptop were unveiled. Both products provide on-device AI based on Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors.
In the Dell Pro product lineup, 'Dell Pro', 'Dell Pro Plus', and 'Dell Pro Premium' products are showcased. The Dell Pro is released in two display sizes of 14 and 16 inches, with options for platinum silver and magnetite dark gray colors. The Dell Pro 14, 16, and Dell Pro Desktop are scheduled for a March launch in South Korea.
Dell also unveiled the 'Dell Pro Desktop', a desktop PC for corporations. This product is offered in three form factors: micro, slim, and tower.
In addition to the new PC products, Dell also introduced the workstation lineup 'Dell Pro Max' and premium monitors 'Dell UltraSharp' and 'Dell Plus'.
Kim Kyungjin, the general manager of Dell Technologies Korea, noted, 'The PC is the most important personal productivity device in daily life, and it is at a turning point due to AI.' He added, 'We will lead the future of computing through a simplified and new AI PC portfolio that perfectly aligns with the AI era.'
