Kakao Entertainment announced on the 6th that it has unveiled the classic fantasy new work "Shadow Pledge" and the romance fantasy new work "Rewriting the Marriage Contract" as part of the Kakao Page January "New Release Project" lineup.
The "New Release Project" is a popular initiative by Kakao Page that showcases two selected new web novels every month, and this year, it plans to continuously introduce returning and anticipated works by writers.
The first work in this lineup, "Shadow Pledge," is a new piece written by renowned fantasy author Yun Hyun-seung of "The White Wolves." After its release on Dec. 31, it claimed the top spot in the daily rankings for the romance fantasy genre, garnering explosive reactions. The story follows the third princess, who faces persecution, and the powerless border prince as they gradually achieve success after their marriage, highlighting the deep romance and growth narrative of the two main characters.
Kakao Entertainment is also conducting an event to provide Kakao Page users with cash lottery tickets worth up to 10,000 won in conjunction with the launch of these new works, further heightening readers' interest.
