Samsung Display said on the 5th that it will showcase a wide range of new IT devices and automotive OLED products at CES 2025, presenting the future of OLED technology.
Samsung Display will exhibit OLED panels for IT devices such as tablets, laptops, and monitors, as well as new automotive display products at CES 2025, held in Las Vegas, U.S., from Jan. 7 to Jan. 10. Notably, this event will feature the debut of innovative OLED products, including an 18.1-inch foldable panel, a slidable product line, an Under Panel Camera (UPC) for vehicles, and a bendable Center Information Display (CID).
The 18.1-inch foldable OLED for IT, revealed at this exhibition, provides a tablet-sized screen when unfolded and transforms into a 13.1-inch laptop size when folded, enhancing portability. Additionally, OLED panels such as the Slidable Flex Duo, Slidable Flex Solo, and Slidable Flex Vertical, which allow for free adjustment of screen size, will be showcased. Samsung Display emphasized that these form factor products will demonstrate the differentiated value of OLED in next-generation IT devices.
New automotive OLED products include UPC technology that conceals the camera under the display to support safe driving, a bendable CID tailored to dashboard shapes, and a large HUD (Head Up Display) that replaces the instrument panel. Notably, the automotive UPC technology enhances the performance of driver monitoring systems while integrating the display and camera to strengthen design aesthetics.
Additionally, Samsung Display will unveil its 2025 QD-OLED products. A QD-OLED for TV capable of achieving a maximum brightness of 4,000 nits, as well as ultra-high-definition panels for gaming and professional monitors, will be presented. These panels offer excellent color reproduction and contrast ratios, providing users with an outstanding viewing experience.
