Devsisters announced on the 3rd that the number of users for the game 'Cookie Run: Tower of Adventure' has exceeded 5.1 million in the six months since its launch in June of last year.
On the same day, Devsisters unveiled 'Cookie Run: Tower of Adventure, 2024 Adventure Journal' and introduced the journey shared with users over the past six months since its release. According to Devsisters, 'Cookie Run: Tower of Adventure' topped the popularity charts on Google Play and the Apple App Store in major gaming markets such as Korea, the United States, Taiwan, and Thailand. Devsisters also reported that it achieved high rankings in revenue, securing 1st place on the Korean Apple App Store, 2nd in Taiwan, and 4th in Thailand.
It also noted that in November of last year, at the 'Award Ceremony for Notable Works of the Year' conducted annually by Google Play, it won the game sector's grand prize, titled '2024 Best Game of the Year.' Additionally, it received the excellence award for 'Best PC Game of the Year' in 82 countries including Korea, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Germany, and France, achieving a double crown.
Users are playing the mobile game with friends, family, and partners through cooperative action. The multiplayer ratio for clearing stages with other users in the solo story mode is approximately 30%, which is notably high.
To enjoy the game with other users, over 78,000 guilds have been created. Party play, such as teaming up with guild members to conquer dungeons, has recorded about 36.32 million occurrences.
It also revealed the most popular cookies (characters) and equipment among users. The most used cookies were 'Cream Soda Cookie,' a damage dealer; 'Wizard Cookie,' a striker; and 'Chamomile Cookie,' a supporter. The most frequently crafted weapon in the workshop was the 'Mystic Collabi Ring,' which is exclusive to 'Collabi Cookie.'
