LG Electronics announced on the 3rd that it will unveil two new projector models at CES 2025, which will be held in Las Vegas, U.S., on the 7th (local time).

The newly added lineup includes a concept projector that enhances usability by combining interior lighting and speakers in a 3-in-1 format and two models of the projector, enhancing its core functions while emphasizing portability, known as 'LG CineBeam Shorts.'

Inspired by the widely used 'floor stand mood light' as an interior accessory, the new concept projector (PF600U) performs the roles of a projector, interior lighting, and high-quality Bluetooth speaker all in one product.

It features a circular projector head, allowing the stand to be moved freely to view various content in FHD (full HD) on a large screen of up to 120 inches. The maximum brightness is 300 ANSI lumens. The projector head can tilt up to 110 degrees, enabling customers to adjust the screen as desired.

In addition to the projector, it can be used as an interior accessory with a mood light available in nine colors, adjustable in five brightness levels. It can easily connect via Bluetooth to mobile devices and serve as a music listening speaker. The speaker features a passive radiator, providing rich bass. This product has also won the 'CES Innovation Award.'

'LG CineBeam Shorts' applies 'ultra-short throw' technology that allows for 100-inch large screen projection from a distance of about 40 cm. It inherits the design identity of the LG CineBeam Cube, measuring palm-sized when viewed from the front (11 cm in width and length and 16 cm in thickness).

This product achieves a maximum 100-inch ultra-large screen in 4K (3840 X 2160) resolution, with a maximum brightness of 500 ANSI lumens. It meets 154% of the color range of the Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI), 'DCI-P3,' and supports a contrast ratio of 450,000:1.

With the 'wall color adjustment' function, colors can be adjusted, and with the 'screen range setting' function, the size or position of the projected screen can be altered, allowing it to be tailored to different wall colors or areas for each customer.

Both products support LG Electronics' proprietary platform web(web)OS, allowing access to the internet and enjoyment of various content without connecting additional devices.

Lee Yoon-seok, head of LG Electronics' IT division, noted, 'We will lead the trend of 'lifestyle projectors' that are naturally integrated into daily life and utilized in various ways with new products that dramatically enhance usability and portability.'
