Fifteen startups from C-Lab, which Samsung Electronics is developing and nurturing, will participate in the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition, 'CES 2025,' held in Las Vegas, USA, early next year.

Samsung Electronics announced on the 26th that it will establish a 'C-Lab exhibition hall' in the Eureka Park startup exhibition area at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas to support startups' entry into the global market.

This exhibition will feature a total of 15 companies, including 12 external startups nurtured through the 'C-Lab Outside' program, two internal ventures from the employee internal venture program 'C-Lab Inside,' and one startup spun off from an internal venture under the 'C-Lab Spinoff.'

They will introduce innovative products and services in various fields such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), digital health, and robotics, while checking global market responses and meeting with investors, buyers, and distributors from around the world to explore entry into overseas markets.

At the exhibition, they will showcase a vision AI technology-based extended reality (XR) remote collaboration solution (Deepfine), an AI-based 3D simulation service for interior and furniture design (Minespace), a diagnostic solution for eye diseases using refurbished smartphones (LabSD), and precision hand gesture tracking gloves based on multi-sensor fusion technology applicable to robotic control (Quester).

This time, four startups operating in Daegu and Gwangju will participate in the C-Lab exhibition. Samsung Electronics noted that having four regional startups participating in CES is the largest scale ever. In particular, GhostPass, a C-Lab Outside Gwangju startup, received the Best Innovation Award in the fintech sector at CES 2025 for its biometric authentication security solution that stores and manages biometric information only on user devices, proving the excellence of regional startups.

Samsung Electronics will present two projects under the 'C-Lab Inside' initiative being developed by its employees: an autonomous golf trolley (Greenfollow) using Galaxy smartphones and watches and a modular robotic platform (Modulo) for fast and efficient robotic research.

Since CES 2016, Samsung Electronics has been showcasing C-Lab Inside projects to check global market responses and validate business viability. Additionally, 'Edint,' an AI-based online exam management and supervision service company spun off through the 'C-Lab Spinoff,' is also expected to showcase innovative services. Since the launch of C-Lab in 2012, Samsung Electronics has nurtured a total of 912 internal ventures and startups (406 internal and 506 external).

Samsung Electronics' C-Lab startups received one Best Innovation Award and 11 Innovation Awards at the 'CES 2025 Innovation Awards' announced by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), gaining recognition for their technological prowess and innovation on the global stage. The award-winning products will be displayed separately at the Venetian Expo during CES.

Vice President Jeon Pil-kyu, Head of the Creative Development Center at Samsung Electronics, said, 'CES will be an important opportunity for domestic startups to establish a foothold for entering the global market and increase brand awareness,' adding, 'C-Lab will support startups to leap forward as global innovative corporations recognized overseas in various ways.'
