The Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) announced on the 24th that it has obtained the Safety and Health Management System certification (KOSHA-MS) from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency.
KOSHA-MS is a certification system designed for the domestic environment based on the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the international standard ISO 45001. It is awarded after a comprehensive review of the ▲safety and health management system and organization ▲risk assessment and improvement of harmful and hazardous factors ▲the level of safety awareness among managers and workers.
This year, KISA established a new safety and health management policy, communicating its commitment to safety and health both internally and externally. Based on this, it improved internal procedures such as safety inspections and hazardous risk management systems, elevating its safety and health management system. Additionally, KISA promoted the establishment of the safety and health management system through safety activities involving all members, including the expansion of experiential safety training.
Additionally, it has established the "Bitgaram Safety and Health Council" with relevant organizations to lay the groundwork for expanding safety culture in the community.
KISA President Lee Sang-jung noted, "Safety is the foundation of all institutional activities and an essential condition for sustainable growth," adding, "Through KOSHA-MS certification, we will prioritize 'safety and health' as our core values and lead safety management in public institutions."
