NHN, also known as NHN, announced on the 24th that it has newly acquired the 'ISO 45001' certification, which is the representative international standard for evaluating corporations' occupational health and safety management systems.

ISO 45001 is an international standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) concerning occupational health and safety management in industrial sites. It is awarded to corporations that have established an environment where various risk factors that may arise in the workplace are anticipated and prevented in advance, allowing employees to work safely.

The certificate awarding ceremony took place on the 20th at the NHN building 'Play Museum,' attended by key officials including Nam I-cheon, director of NHN GA, and Song Ji-young, representative of the Korea Quality Foundation.

NHN acquired this certification to further enhance its safety and health management system in line with increasingly stringent regulations, while also improving the trust of corporations and solidifying its commitment to ESG management.

NHN is establishing seven major management policies on occupational health and safety and five detailed promotion strategies aimed at all members and partner companies, ensuring thorough efforts to create a safe and pleasant establishment. NHN conducts biannual occupational health and safety risk assessments and monthly health and safety council meetings to identify and improve hazardous and dangerous factors that may arise in workspaces and facilities.

Additionally, NHN regularly conducts training on cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of automated external defibrillators for its members, as well as joint fire drills in collaboration with local fire departments, striving to enhance the awareness and response capabilities of employees regarding safety incidents and disasters.
