KT announced on the 23rd that it has installed an 11-meter tall giant media tree in Shincheon, Seoul, and will operate an offline pop-up for the 'Fan-made K-AI Idea Challenge' until January 5, where customer-suggested AI ideas will be produced as advertisements and broadcast.

This campaign was planned with the intention of combining customer ideas with the strategic partnership between KT and Microsoft to create AI innovation together. Customers are encouraged to suggest AI utilization ideas from their daily lives, such as cooking, travel, and parenting, and KT is showcasing these ideas as advertisements in key locations.

The pop-up features various experiential elements, including a media tree that displays customer ideas as outdoor advertisements, a Christmas-themed photo zone, and merchandise giveaways. KT received approximately 20,000 AI ideas in this challenge and selected outstanding ones, such as 'AI flower pot that follows the sunlight' and 'AI trash can that spits out incorrectly discarded trash,' which are being showcased as outdoor advertisements at locations like Central City in Banpo and IFC Mall in Yeouido.

Yoon Tae-sik, KT's head of the Brand Strategy Department (executive director), noted, 'The Fan-made K-AI campaign is set to target various genres in customers' daily lives and will continue seasonally.'
