Samsung Electronics' UK subsidiary has received a new royal warrant from King Charles III.

According to Samsung Electronics' UK newsroom on the 22nd, Samsung Electronics has obtained the royal warrant, recognizing it as a consumer electronics supplier that will provide various products, including TVs and refrigerators, to the British royal family for the next five years.

This achievement is due to Samsung Electronics receiving royal warrants under the late Queen Elizabeth II and providing high-quality products to the royal family since 2012.

Brian Ford, vice president of customer experience for Samsung Electronics UK and Ireland, said, "I am pleased that King Charles has recognized the value and quality of Samsung Electronics' extensive range of products and granted the new royal warrant," and added, "This honor provides an opportunity to enhance support and participation in the important work carried out by King Charles and the broader royal family over the next five years."

The British royal family has been awarding royal warrants to individuals or corporations supplying products or services to the royal family since the 15th century to certify quality. Companies that receive the warrant are qualified to use the certification logo on trademarks, packaging, and more for five years. However, they must recertify after the usage period expires.
