AD Technology, a domestic semiconductor design solutions corporation, announced on the 20th that it has formed a strategic partnership with MSquare Technology, a leading global semiconductor IP (Intellectual Property) and chiplet company, at the 'ICCAD 2024' held in Shanghai, China.

This collaboration is expected to strengthen AD Technology's capabilities in the high-speed semiconductor interface IP and chiplet sectors, which are gaining attention in the fields of AI and data centers.

MSquare, established in 2021, is a semiconductor IP and chiplet technology specialist focusing on chip-to-chip interconnect and vertically integrated solution development in the AI and data center fields. Headquartered in Shanghai, it operates global bases in Taipei, Tokyo, Sydney, and San Jose, with a strong technology-centric organization where 80% of employees are engaged in research and development.

At ICCAD 2024, MSquare also showcased the latest silicon testing results of high-speed IP technologies, including high band-width memory (HBM), LPDDR5X, ONFI, and PCIe, demonstrating its technical prowess.

Through this collaboration, AD Technology plans to accelerate the development of next-generation high-speed IP and chiplet technologies, expediting the creation of solutions to address the limitations of memory bandwidth, interconnect performance, and computational capacity generated in AI computing.

An AD Technology official noted, 'As the AI and data center markets grow rapidly, the advancement of design technologies and the provision of customer-tailored solutions are becoming increasingly important,' adding, 'Collaboration with MSquare will serve as a strong foundation to meet these demands.'
