As a result of sampling South Korean smartphone (Android + iOS) users, WiseApp, Retail, Goods found that the most used app in November 2024 was KakaoTalk, with 48.5 million users.

The app used for the longest time was YouTube, with a usage time of 106.3 billion minutes. Following that, the rankings were ▲KakaoTalk 32.2 billion minutes ▲Instagram 22.5 billion minutes ▲Naver 19.2 billion minutes ▲TikTok 6.1 billion minutes ▲X 5.7 billion minutes ▲Naver Webtoon 5.2 billion minutes ▲T Map 4.4 billion minutes ▲Netflix 4.2 billion minutes ▲Coupang 3.8 billion minutes.
The app used most frequently was KakaoTalk, with 76.1 billion usages. Following that, the rankings were ▲Instagram 16.1 billion ▲Naver 14.4 billion ▲YouTube 13.9 billion ▲Toss 6.3 billion ▲X 5.2 billion ▲Coupang 4.2 billion ▲Carrot 3.4 billion ▲Upbit 2.4 billion ▲Band 2.2 billion.
The survey was conducted by the app and retail analytics service WiseApp, Retail, Goods, sampling users of Android and iOS smartphones in South Korea, and excluded from the statistics apps from Google, Apple, mobile carriers, smartphone manufacturers, and pedometer apps, excluding YouTube.
