On the 16th (local time), U.S. CNBC reported that Son would meet with president-elect Donald Trump at his residence in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, to announce this investment plan.
CNBC added that Son is also expected to release a joint statement with president-elect Trump outlining plans to create 100,000 jobs related to artificial intelligence and infrastructure development.
