AhnLab's next-generation cloud operation management service (MSP) specialized subsidiary, AhnLab Cloud Mate, announced on the 16th that it was selected as an excellent corporation in the 'vulnerability detection response' field during the '2024 Cyber Crisis Response Simulation Training for the second half of the year' conducted by the Ministry of Science and ICT (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry) and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (hereinafter referred to as KISA) on the 12th.
AhnLab Cloud Mate was recognized for its high detection and response capabilities for the latest vulnerabilities with a high degree of risk and impact in this year's second-half simulation training, being selected as an excellent corporation in the 'vulnerability detection response' field. In particular, it was highly evaluated for its systematic response to vulnerabilities based on internally established security guideline materials.
Chief Technology Officer Kim Se-jun of AhnLab Cloud Mate noted, "AhnLab Cloud Mate is enhancing its internal security system by regularly conducting security training for all employees to provide customers with safer services and solutions," and added, "We will continue to participate in various internal and external training and education, regularly update internal guidelines, and further improve our security level."
"Cyber Crisis Response Simulation Training" is a training conducted biannually (in the first and second halves) by the Ministry and KISA to strengthen corporations' capabilities in preventing and responding to cyber intrusion incidents. This year's second-half training took place from Nov. 11 to 22, with 442 corporations and 188,027 employees participating.
