Lotte Innovate announced on the 16th that it will participate in the world's largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition, CES 2025, to be held in Las Vegas, USA, early next year, showcasing the expanded worldview and content of the ultra-realistic metaverse, Caliverse.
A Lotte Innovate official said, “We plan to present the expanded content of Caliverse, which was globally launched this year, along with significantly upgraded user-friendly technology.”
Caliverse has established a unique platform that goes beyond the community or game content-centered metaverse, enabling interaction between online and offline. The company explained that it provides an immersion level that cannot be experienced in existing metaverses through realistic fusion technology that allows users to interact in the metaverse as they do in reality.
Lotte Innovate also plans to showcase the electric vehicle charging technology of its subsidiary, EVSIS. The electric vehicle charging platform, EVSIS, established a joint venture in the United States in May. The company reported that it plans to introduce ultra-fast chargers tailored to the U.S. market.
Lotte Innovate will set up a booth about 250 pyeong in size at the Tech East North Hall. The booth will feature a "VR zone" where visitors can see various K-POP and EDM performances within the theater of Caliverse.
Kim Kyung-yeop, CEO of Lotte Innovate, said, “We plan to showcase a new world and business model where offline and online converge through a differentiated metaverse unique to Lotte.”
