American Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore made a surprise visit to the LG North America headquarters in New Jersey. LG Electronics stated that the visit was a result of its suggestion to Drew to visit the headquarters instead of the usual studio for the filming of the popular American daytime show 'The Drew Barrymore Show,' which it sponsors. It is reported that Drew, who also uses LG Electronics appliances, decided to take this opportunity to visit the LG Electronics headquarters for filming.

According to LG Electronics' newsroom on the 13th, Drew toured the LG Electronics headquarters in North America for several hours on the 3rd and filmed new episodes of season 5 of 'The Drew Barrymore Show' in the showroom located within the headquarters. It is very rare for famous actors to visit corporate headquarters in the U.S. The company explained that the reason this visit was possible was that LG Electronics appliances are recognized as reliable products by North American consumers.

LG Electronics has been sponsoring 'The Drew Barrymore Show' since first establishing a partnership in 2020. 'The Drew Barrymore Show' is a CBS TV program hosted by Drew, who is considered a national sweetheart in the U.S. It covers various fields, including fashion, beauty, the arts, and cooking, and is especially popular among homemakers. Recently, it has gained attention as famous figures such as Ariana Grande, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mariah Carey, and Demi Moore have made appearances.

The new episode features American cooking influencer Fila Valdez sharing breakfast recipes using LG cooking appliances. Various products, including the LG InstaView and LG ProBake Convection, were utilized, as well as refrigerators, ovens, and induction cookers. This episode is set to air on the 12th (local time).

Drew noted, 'The product quality is excellent, but I especially love the message of 'Life’s Good' that LG symbolizes. I’m also an optimistic person, so I feel happy every time I think of that phrase,' expressing her gratitude by saying, 'It’s an honor to be a partner with LG.'

This aligns with LG Electronics' global campaign 'Fill social media with smiles.' Since May of this year, LG Electronics has been conducting a campaign to spread positive content online through algorithms, promoting the message of experiencing a better life with an optimistic attitude. Since its release on social media channels like YouTube and TikTok in May, it surpassed 1.8 billion views by the end of July, just about two months later.
