OpenAI officially launched the collaboration tool 'Canvas' on the 10th (local time), making it available to all ChatGPT users.

The 'Canvas' tool, which was released in beta in October, was previously limited to only some paid users, including ChatGPT Plus subscribers, but it has now become available to all users. This tool features an interface that supports writing and coding projects more efficiently, allowing real-time editing and detailed modification through a separate window, unlike the existing chat format.

The official version has improved functionalities compared to its beta release. 'Canvas' is integrated into the ChatGPT base model and can be accessed using the command 'use Canvas.' It also includes the ability to execute Python code. This means users can write code and immediately see or modify the results, which is expected to enhance the efficiency of coding tasks.

'Canvas' also combines with the custom GPT feature to provide a personalized working environment. Users can add Canvas functionalities to their custom AI to meet various needs.

As the year-end approaches, OpenAI is showcasing various new technologies in addition to 'Canvas.' The day before, it launched the video generation AI model 'Sora,' and on the 5th, it announced the premium AI tool subscription 'ChatGPT Pro' for $200 per month.
