NeoWiz Holdings successfully concluded its employee participation volunteer program ‘2024 Osaek Ogam’ in time for the year-end, it said on the 10th.

‘Osaek Ogam’ is NeoWiz Holdings’ representative social contribution activity, hosted by the NeoWiz Magic Tree Foundation, which has been operating annually since 2008. This year, it was held under the theme ‘Five Activities to Protect the Earth and Humanity’ from October for two months.

Approximately 250 employees from NeoWiz Holdings and its subsidiaries participated in this activity, which progressed sequentially through five programs: ▲removing invasive plant species ▲custom furniture making ▲creating Braille tactile clocks ▲upcycling coffee grounds ▲and sharing briquettes. Notably, the invasive plant removal activity was carried out as part of NeoWiz Holdings and Seongnam City’s cooperation in the ‘ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Environment Sector.’

In the final briquette sharing activity, 6,000 briquettes were delivered to Guryong Village in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and 15 million won was donated for briquette support. The activity included participation from Na Sung-kyun, chairman of NeoWiz Holdings, CEO Kim Sang-wook, and co-CEOs Kim Seung-chul and Bae Tae-geun.

Na Sung-kyun, chairman of the NeoWiz Magic Tree Foundation, said, “It was meaningful to bring warmth to the community through activities with our employees,” and added, “We will continue to engage in various activities that share our hearts with our neighbors.”
