Iran's state-run IRNA news agency reported on the 1st (local time) that an Iranian working-level delegation on ending the war, which visited Doha, Qatar, had wrapped up talks with the mediating countries.
Kazem Gharibabadi, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs who led the Iranian working-level delegation, said, "The Doha, Qatar talks discussing implementation of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the United States and Iran to end the war have concluded."
He said, "The Iranian delegation met this morning with the Qatari prime minister and foreign minister, and then held two joint sessions only with delegations from mediating countries, including Qatar and Pakistan, with no meetings with the U.S. side."
He added there was also a separate meeting with officials from the Qatar Central Bank.
Vice Minister Gharibabadi said, "In particular, the Lebanon issue and ways to unfreeze assets were discussed intensively," adding, "The participating countries agreed to establish a communication channel by the 2nd to report and record violations of the memorandum of understanding."
