U.S. President Donald Trump said, "We are at a point where we will be getting out of Iran very quickly."
On the 5th (local time), Trump visited Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, and met with figures from the agriculture sector, where, regarding a U.S.-Iran war, he said, "It will be either very strong or the opposite. It will be (the) paperwork of an agreement, or a very hard-line approach," making the remarks.
The United States, together with a declaration ending the war, agreed in broad terms with Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz and hold nuclear negotiations for the next 60 days, but they still have not reached agreement on the timing of unfreezing Iran's frozen asset.
Trump emphasized, "A very hard-line approach might actually be the easier way, but we will get out, and then fertilizer prices will fall a lot, and oil and gas prices will all fall a lot."
This is interpreted to mean that an agreement with Iran may come soon, or military strikes could resume.
Trump also referenced the unexpectedly strong May jobs data that day, saying, "Moreover, these results came out amid a military clash," and added, "I won't call it a war; I'll call it a military clash."
