U.S. President Donald Trump unveiled a large statue installed at his golf course, continuing efforts to rally his base.
On the 6th (local time), President Trump posted a photo of his gold-colored statue on the social media platform Truth Social and said it was "erected by great American patriots."
The statue was made of bronze and then gilded. The statue stands about 4.5 meters tall, and its total height, including the pedestal, reaches 6 meters. It reportedly weighs more than 3 tons.
The statue depicts a raised right fist, modeling the posture Trump took after facing an assassination scare during the 2024 presidential campaign.
The piece was commissioned by a cryptocurrency-related group and had its installation delayed over payment issues before it was recently placed at the Trump National Doral golf resort in Miami, Florida.
