With the negotiation deadline set by U.S. President Donald Trump approaching, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he is raising the level of pressure on the Iranian regime.
On the 7th (local time), Prime Minister Netanyahu released a video message saying, "We are intensifying pressure on Iran's terror regime," and disclosed recent military operation results. Netanyahu said, "The day before, we destroyed an Iranian transport aircraft and dozens of helicopters, and today we struck railways and bridges used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)." He also emphasized the legitimacy of the operation, claiming that the infrastructure is being used to move weapons raw materials, weapons, and agents who attack Israel, the United States, and countries in the Middle East.
Netanyahu added, "This airstrike is not aimed at the Iranian people; it is intended to weaken and dismantle the terror regime that has oppressed the Iranian people for 47 years."
Earlier, Iran's Mehr News Agency cited the deputy governor of Isfahan Province in central Iran as saying, "The United States and Israel attacked the Yahyaabad railway bridge in the Kushan area," and that "two civilians were killed and three were injured in the attack."
