According to AFP on the 22nd (local time), Lebanon's state news agency said Israeli fighter jets attacked the Kasmiyeh Bridge over the Litani River in southern Lebanon that day. The Israeli military suspects Hezbollah, the Iran-allied armed faction in Lebanon, is using the bridge.
The Israeli military has recently been concentrating attacks on bridges over the Litani River. Israel Katz, Israel's defense minister, said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the military to destroy all bridges over the Litani.
