BTS is set to embark on a world tour starting in April, and the group has achieved the highest single show capacity rate at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Concert promoter Live Nation UK said on the 6th on its official social media that BTS's ARMY (fandom) achieved the Highest Single Show Capacity at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
At BTS's concerts to be held July 6–7 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, about 120,000 spectators are expected to attend over two days. With a 360-degree stage that allows viewing from all directions announced, tickets for both days are sold out.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which seats 62,000, is the home ground of Tottenham Hotspur of England's Premier League (EPL). Since its opening in 2019, it has hosted performances by Stray Kids, Beyoncé and Travis Scott.
BTS will open its world tour, which will visit 34 cities worldwide, on Apr. 9 at Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium. The tour, including the London shows, has sold out all currently bookable performances.
BTS has also drawn attention to its music as it signaled the release of its fifth studio album "Arirang" (ARIRANG) on Mar. 20. As of the 4th, "Arirang" ranked No. 1 for three consecutive weeks on Spotify's "Countdown Chart Global." The "Countdown Chart Global" tallies pre-saves for albums and singles ahead of release.
Meanwhile, on Mar. 21, the day after the release of "Arirang," BTS will hold a comeback live performance at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, and the show will be broadcast live on Netflix to more than 190 countries.
