U.S. President Donald Trump warned on the 5th (local time) that India and Russia are closely aligning with China.
On this day, President Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social, "It seems we have lost India and Russia to the deepest, darkest China."
He added, "I hope they enjoy a long and prosperous future together! Donald J. Trump, President of the United States."
Along with this post, President Trump also shared a photo of Xi Jinping, the Chinese president; Narendra Modi, the Indian prime minister; and Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, walking together.
This photo is believed to have been taken on the 1st when President Xi, Prime Minister Modi, and President Putin were smiling brightly at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting in Tianjin, China.
President Trump's remarks appear to reflect displeasure, suggesting that while President Xi is building an anti-U.S. alliance with India and Russia, there will be no "prosperous future."
