Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has revealed why his transgender daughter is living with three roommates after severing ties with her ultra-rich father.
VIVIEN Wilson explained the reasons during an interview with the American media 'The Cut' on 2nd, saying, "It's cheaper to live this way." She continued, "People think I must have a lot of money because of my father, but I can't spend hundreds of thousands of dollars freely."
She said, "I have no desire to become super-rich," adding, "I can buy food, I have friends and a home, and I have a small income. This is much better than most of my peers living in LA."
Wilson shared her ordinary daily life, which includes having inexpensive sushi for meals and enjoying K-pop and video games. Recently, she was also selected as the cover model for the fashion magazine 'Teen Vogue.'
The background of Wilson's independent lifestyle stems from her conflict with her father. After transitioning at the age of 16, she petitioned the court in 2022, upon becoming an adult, to have her gender legally recognized and to remove 'Musk' from her name. In her petition, she stated, "I no longer want to be connected to my father in any way."
Musk mentioned in public that "my child has died of the 'Woke' virus." In response, Wilson countered on social media, stating, "I am not dead," and called her father "someone who wants to be recognized by the depraved incel community."
Wilson is the second twin born to Musk and Canadian author Justine Wilson, and she is the surrogate eldest child among Musk's 14 children. She attended classes in the past at a private school known for having celebrity children, where she studied alongside Gwyneth Paltrow's and Chris Martin's daughter, Apple.
In college, she studied Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish, but lost motivation to study due to the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) and dropped out of the schools she attended in Canada and Japan.
