At an amusement park in Saudi Arabia, a ride fell from the air, injuring at least 23 passengers.
According to reports from U.S. CNN and others on the 31st (local time), while the ride called '360 Big Pendulum' was spinning in the air, the circular rotating section collided with a structure on the opposite side, causing passengers to fall several meters to the ground.
Videos capturing the process of the accident spread rapidly through social media (SNS). It was reported that at least three passengers, who were ejected from the ride, suffered serious injuries.
This accident occurred at Al Hada Amusement Park in Taif, near Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on July 30th. Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, the regional administrator of Taif, instructed that the amusement park be immediately closed during the investigation.
